2. 公共报时,原已需要持续服务
城镇钟声让没有钟的家庭也能获知时间,背后有人敲钟,也有人出资。钟声能覆盖的范围有限,在当地以共同信号协调活动,与让远方车站和列车的计时保持一致,是不同任务。
